Norwich Road, Woodton – Carriageway Resurfacing
Works to improve the carriageway along a section of the Norwich Road are programmed to start on or soon after 24 March 2025. The work will involve the removal of the existing surface followed by the installation of a new asphalt surface.
The works are expected to take up to 7 nights to complete, weather permitting.
To ensure the works are carried out safely, Norwich Road will be temporarily closed to vehicles between 8pm and 6am. While the work is underway, a fully signed official diversion route will be in place.
To reduce the impact to residents as much as possible, the works will be completed along Norwich Road in phases. Members of the team will be on site to advise.
There may be some short delays to vehicle access to properties while work takes place in front of driveways.
The County Council thanks people for their patience while this pavement improvement work is carried out.
The work, which will cost approximately £225,879.29, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
