Dog waste removal

Parish Clerk

It has been brought to the Parish Councils attention that there is an increased amount of dog fouling within the village.  Dog waste removal is an important aspect of responsible pet ownership. It not only helps keep our environment clean and free from bacteria but also ensures the safety and hygiene of our community. By taking the time to properly dispose of your dog’s waste, you are not only being considerate to others but also helping to prevent the spread of diseases.  Leaving dog waste unattended can lead to severe health risks for both humans and animals. The bacteria present in dog faeces can contain contaminated soil, water sources and even food, causing diseases such as roundworm and giardia.  These illnesses are easily preventable with proper disposal methods.  Please look after our community and clean up after your dog(s).
