Norfolk County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (the “Order”) (STRO12391) affecting the B1332 Norwich Road from its junction with U76389 Church Road to its junction with C394 Belsey Bridge Road (“Road A”) and U76318 Fen Lane from its junction with B1332 Norwich Road for 3m southwards (“Road B”) in the Parish of Ditchingham to facilitate water-jetting, the Roads A and B will be temporarily closed/restricted (except for pedestrian access) for the duration of the works/period the closure is necessary which is anticipated to be between 19:30 on 8th April and 06:00 on 9th April 2025, but may continue to be closed/restricted until the 21st May 2025 where the closure/restriction is still required beyond the anticipated dates.
Alternative route is via: A) B1332 Norwich Road, A143 Broome bypass, A143 Yarmouth Road, A146 Beccles Road, A146 Loddon Bypass, A146 Norwich Road, A146 Loddon Road, B1332 Bungay Road, B1132 The Street, B1332 Norwich Road; B) B1332 Norwich Road, Pound Lane (Stockton, Framingham Pigot, Poringland, Kirstead, Ellingham, Framingham Earl, Ditchingham, Chedgrave, Kirby Bedon, Brooke, Yelverton, Broome, Hellington, Hales, Woodton, Gillingham, Ashby St. Mary, Loddon, Sisland, Thurton, Caistor St. Edmund and Bixley, Kirby Cane, Holverston, Hedenham).

Vehicular access will be permitted to a final destination in the Roads A and B where signs indicating such access is possible and permitted are in place.
The Order shall automatically revoke on the completion of the works/when the closure is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 21st May 2025 without further notice.
If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date the Order is effective.
A person who contravenes, or who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the restriction/closure imposed by the Order shall be guilty of an offence.
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
