Welcome to Woodton Parish Council Website

This site has been created by the Parish Council to allow us to connect with the people living and working in our village. You can read more about what the Parish Council does here, and you can contact the Parish Council about any local Woodton issues.

Woodton is a friendly and active village in South Norfolk with fantastic facilities that include a village hall, Church, school, community wood and two play areas.

Woodton Parish Council is made up of 7 councillors who represent the village on various matters.  We are the third tier of local government after Norfolk County Council and South Norfolk District Council.

6-Step Process - Actions that need to be taken should you find someone unconscious:

  1. Shake the person gently and shout for help.

  2. Call 999.

  3. Don't put your face close to theirs. If you think there's risk of infection, use a towel or a piece of clothing and lay it over their mouth and nose.

  4. Give chest compressions only - do not give rescue breaths.

  5. Continue until an ambulance arrives.

  6. After the ambulance crew have taken over wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand gel.
